What Is Involved In My Micro Laser Peel Treatment?

During the procedure for a Micro Laser Peel aesthetic experts at Core Plastic Surgery use an erbium laser to gently slough off a thin layer of damaged cells so that fresh cells can replace the dead cells. This process uses a computer-guided laser that gently glides over the treatment area. It restores your skin's healthy appearance by balancing color and texture as well as making it smoother and softer.

While it is not painful, it may be slightly uncomfortable, so a topical numbing agent can be applied to the target area. Depending on each individual patient and the extent of treatment that is necessary, the entire MicroLaserPeel procedure should take only about 15 to 30 minutes to complete. You may feel a sensation like a mild sunburn immediately following the procedure which we counteract with ointments and cooling compresses for several minutes.

What To Expect After Microlaserpeel

There may be some slight redness and mild swelling but these fade within a few days.
