What is a Brow Lift?
Dr. Core has helped pioneer the minimally-invasive approach with endoscopic brow lifts.
When you have a brow lift or forehead lift, the goal is to lift the skin above the brow line to smooth the lines across the forehead and lift excess skin that hangs over the brows. It is the preferred method as it uses very small incisions in the scalp.

Benefits of a Brow Lift
Dr. Core performs endoscopic brow lifts because it provides the following benefits:
- Well-concealed incisions
- Eases muscle tension
- Look more relaxed
- Combined with other procedures
- Less downtime and recovery
Who is a Good Candidate for a Brow Lift?
Prior to having a forehead lift, it is important to consult with Dr. Core to determine if this is the best option for you. Good candidates have a furrowed brow, drooping brows, and horizontal lines across the forehead.
How Do I Prepare for My Brow Lift?
Preparing for an endoscopic brow lift involves a consultation to discuss your issues and make sure this is the best option to achieve your desired look.
Once you decide on the procedure, we provide you with detailed pre-operative instructions to ensure a successful surgery and proper recovery.
What is Involved with My Brow Lift?
Endoscopic brow lifts are done under general anesthesia and take approximately 45 minutes.
With Dr. Core, an endoscopic brow lift has replaced the traditional forehead lift. It involves several small incisions within the hairline and is customized to patients who may only need to lift the outer brows or may have problems with drooping inner brows, frown lines, and the area between the brows, or even horizontal lines across the forehead.
Once the surgery is complete, the incisions are sutured close.
No drains are necessary; however, a compression garment is placed around the incisions for a few hours after surgery.
What to Expect After a Brow Lift
Following surgery, there may be some bruising and swelling around the incisions. This typically resolves itself within a couple of weeks. We recommend you rest for few days before returning to light work and daily activities.
To minimize swelling and bruising, we suggest you sleep with your head elevated. You may shampoo your hair the following day but should be very careful about pulling on tangles for the first week to let the incisions heal.
When Will I See the Results from My Brow Lift?
The full healing process takes a few weeks, during which time the results become more visible. It is worth noting that the results should not be obvious instead subtle, revealing a rested and pleasant appearance.
How Much Does a Brow Lift Cost?
A brow or forehead lift varies in terms of cost with each patient based on the extent of the procedure and whether it is combined with other procedures.
During your consultation, we can review the costs along with our payment and financing options. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards in addition to offering financing through CareCredit®.
