Dysport® is a lower cost alternative to Botox® and is available on the market. At Core Plastic Surgery we have decided to offer only Botox® for now due to issues with Dysport® migrating after injection. The cost savings is not significant enough to where most patients are willing to remain with Botox® for now.
New Juvederm HC® is available and has lidocaine present in the material so that there is less pain on injection. In addition to less discomfort Juvederm Ultra HC® lasts longer as well. This is currently our most popular filler for facial volume issues.
